Jewel is Jazz's ex-wife. Jazz and Jewel met when she was an inmate in prison. She had been on the show COPS. Jazz and Jewel eventually got married. They divorced after Jazz found out her name was really Hortense and that she had slept with all the tenants in the building in which they lived. Jazz and Jewel also supposedly had a baby, but it was only mentioned in one episode that she was pregnant. The pregnancy was mentioned once when Jazz told Will that he divorced Jewel.
