Will's Up the Dirt Road
Will feels embarrassed after his girlfriend, Lisa, defends him when he is attacked by a man in a bowling alley. Because of this, Will feels tense when he is around Lisa so he tries to learn Shotokan Karate. He fails so then he decides to seek help from Jazz, who organizes a fake robbery at the Peacock. However, the situation goes awry, and ends up with Will beating up a real robber, crippling him for life.
At a bowling alley, Will confronts a burly customer who is flirting with Lisa. Will is swiftly knocked out while Lisa defends him against the customer. Will becomes embarrassed and would have rather been beat up than have a woman defend him but also becomes tense around her. Will attempts to learn Shotokan Karate but becomes bored when the Sensei only wants to tell fables than teach Will self-defense moves. Jazz helps Will by hiring a man for $40 who allows people to beat him up and stages a robbery at the Peacock. Will beats the robber up but realizes it was a real robber and not the guy hired by the two. Lisa is angered that Will put himself in danger to prove himself and storms out. Will later apologizes to her as he felt scared by her being stronger than him but agrees to see each other as equals from now on.
