Paula is a young girl who attends school with Ashley Banks and bullies her. Carlton and Will manage to make her leave Ashley alone temporarily by paying her cash, which backfires when Carlton's check bounces and she begins to bully Ashley again. Philip and Vivian meet with Paula's parents while Ashley and Paula talk in the kitchen. Paula reveals she bullies Ashley because she cut in to dance with a guy she liked but Ashley tells her she never had any interest in the guy as the two befriend each other and hug though Will interprets this as Paula trying to hurt Ashley and grabs her off.
